Sometimes in the rare cases you find the New installed Central Air Conditioner system getting stuck in a few days & that thing is enough for lift-up your anxiety because for a resident or commercial building cost of central ac could be once in a life approachable. In this following post we discuss the reason behind central ac failure in just newly installed and as well in older one.

Why Newly Installed Central AC Suddenly Stopped?

Basically the issue of sudden central ac failure had many reasons behind but we should divide the two categories in which all the possible issues may be covered up all. Those two list heading would be Human error or Technical System error. Such as an extra amount of electric flow coming from the backend & your control panel wasn't able to take the load of it. This reason must be possible but rare in newly installed, let me briefly explain all possible reasons one after one for a better idea of the current situation.

Reason of Central AC Problem by Human Error

  • Wrongly Set or Operated Thermostats

    • Improper operation of the thermostat (e.g. in heater mode instead of switching to cool, or the temperature is set) makes the AC act in an unpredictable way, such as cooling with room temperature air or failing to power up altogether.

    • The thermostat can be installed improperly or not set properly, which would prevent the thermostat from measuring temperature correctly and react to changes.

  • Basic Maintenance Neglect

    • Neglecting basic maintenance by not performing planned repairs on aviation mechanical equipment will cause the organization to give up on proper planning of the repairs and simply react to situations as they arise.

    • Letting air filters become dirty or clogged decreases airflow, results in evaporator coils freezing and may cause system overworking resulting in system failure.

    • Failure to clean drains, unclog a drain, or even make sure it is not leaking means water damage, molds, and inefficiency.

  • Mis-Installation of Service

    • Improper ductwork installation or installation of the unit itself may create air leaks and poor cooling ability as well as higher energy charges (e.g. duct leak, low refrigerant charge).

    • Improper charging of the systems or installation or repair according to the manufacturers directions.

  • Power Cycling and circuit breaker problems are too common

    • Continuously turning on and off the AC or inability to fix a circuit breaker frequently tripping may burn out electrical parts and cause the system failure.

    • Failure to know that a dedicated AC circuit breaker has tripped and trying to perform multiple reset strokes on the breaker as opposed to repairing the source of the problem.

Problem of Technical Error of System Own

  • Refrigerant Leaks: Leaks impede cooling performance loss; due to component component failure, corrosion, vibration.

  • Compressor/AC Failure: Helps to stop the cooling. Bad capacitors will kill the power on start, or burn it off.

  • Frozen Evaporator Coils: Have poor airflow or low refrigerant and coils freeze, which stops cooling; must thaw.

  • Electrical Control Failure: Relays, sensors, fan motors fail from gasoline buildups, oxidation, surges, cycling and overheating.

  • Sensor malfunctions: Incorrect or lost sensors result in faulty operation or wrong reading of temperature to quite the measurement.

  • Drainage Issues: Clogged/blocked (or collapsed) drains & damage in pans result in water leaks and mold possibility.

Conclusion

Although failure in new central AC can be alarming, installation errors, setup errors and technical flaws usually lead to failure. Be it a human error (as thermostat malfunctions or even forgotten to service) or a system failure error (as refrigerant leakage or even electric failure), timely professional diagnostics is essential.
